I’ve seen this passed around the internet by….liberals?
Why are liberals saying nice things about us?
Mitt knows what a good owner is and a good business owner doesn’t take gruff from hourly employee Riff-Raff:
A group of coal miners in Ohio feel they would have been fired if they did not attend an Aug. 14 event with presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney and contribute to his campaign — and to make matters worse, they lost of day of pay for their trouble.
In phone calls and emails to WWVA radio host David Blomquist, employees at the Century Mine in Ohio said they feared retaliation if they did not attend the Romney event.
“Yes, we were in fact told that the Romney event was mandatory and would be without pay, that the hours spent there would need to be made up my non-salaried employees outside of regular working hours, with the only other option being to take a pay cut for the equivalent time,” the employees told Blomquist. “Yes, letters have gone around with lists of names of employees who have not attended or donated to political events.” […]
“I’m not saying pay then to attend the event, I’m saying, ‘Hey look, we have to close down the mine, if you want to attend this event, that’s fine, but you’re still going to get a day’s pay for the work that you would have done,’” Blomquist pointed out. “Why not do that?”
“As a private employer, it was our decision and we made the decision not to pay the people,” the Murray chief financial officer said.
If you complain about a measly 200 dollars, you are a loser!
Mitt knows how to treat the riff-raff.
Well, Mitt has taken off the gloves and gone after our Kenyan President!
Ok, I get it….but let’s humble ourselves ok? A moron vote counts the same as a regular vote and we need the morons along, ok? It isn’t as if we have to have these “hourly wage” employee riff-raff over for dinner dates, ok?
Let’s just play along…throw them a bone or two…then get back to our tax cuts!
(psst: be quiet about Mitt’s five paternal grandmothers, ok?)
This situation is becoming more and more intolerable!
Yes, we needed votes to pass our tax cuts for ourselves; I get that. And yes, a moron vote counts the same as any other votes.
But do the “useful morons” have to make things more difficult than they have to be?
First we have Todd Akin shooting off his mouth about rape. Look, I don’t care what this clown actually believes; we need that vote in the Senate! But does he have to embarrass all of us in public like this?
But can our religious morons leave well enough alone? Oh noooooooo!
What the heck is the matter with you Mr. Huckabee? Are you trying to turn our jewelry rattling wives off to our ticket?
Look, I really don’t mind it when you did your “get our idiots” to eat greasy fast food in the name of…well, not sure of what:
It gives the dummies something to do…and if enough of these fatties die early it might help out the Medicare situation.
Less talk about rape and more about tax cuts! Come ON people!!!!
Oh goodness….the peasants are threatening to revolt.
First, they are mercilessly hounding Mitt for his tax returns. That is just soooo unfair! Listen: Ann Romney knows how to respond to the hired help when they get sassy:
And when, oh when will the riff-raff FINALLY understand that we are, well….more important than they are? From a campaign stop:
Romney responded to the question regarding US military involvement by stating, “We are the most powerful nation in the world, and it is our responsibility to make sure we protect all of our interests both here and abroad. This helps protect each and every freedom that has been fought for and won over the centuries of our nation’s existence. We will do what we have to in regard to strengthening our allied relationships, as well as letting our enemies know we do not intend to back down. We will stay the course of freedom at all costs. That is what our founders would have wanted.”
This very rehearsed answer to a scripted question was followed by a question that the former governor was not prepared to answer, or so it seemed by his response.
The next question asked went as follows, “Governor Romney, it is true, is it not that you had four deferments from the Vietnam War… You have said before that you support war and the efforts of US military involvement overseas at all costs, yet you made sure you would never go to war yourself. What makes you think that veterans and those currently serving in the military think that you have their best interests at heart when you yourself weren’t even interested in sacrificing your time, energy, or life for your nation at a time when it seemed most crucial?”
“That’s a good question, young man, and I would be happy to answer it. The Vietnam War came at a time in my life when I had other plans. I knew in my heart of hearts that I would one day serve my nation. That I would one day hold an office that would help not only our nation, but also the world. So I did what I could to make sure that I would be around to serve my nation, as well as serving God by teaching very important religious principles to a broader audience overseas. My father did not want me serving, and he convinced me that yes, I was too important to go to Vietnam. I had a greater purpose in life. I wasn’t neglecting my nation, but rather preparing myself for a future of service.”
Of course, the uncouth person with the question in a most vulgar manner; what do you expect?
(note: the libs mention that this is a satire quote and was never really said but it makes the important point: real Republicans (those making 250 K a year or more) ARE more important than the riff-raff.)
That’s right: Mitt and Hillary on the same team! If Hillary says it, well, it must be true!
Why is it so hard to understand: Mitt took a token salary of over 100K (not much for an important American) and retired “retroactively“.
I’m sure that an apology is on the way:
So like it or not, we have an election in which one candidate is proposing a redistribution from the top — which is currently paying lower taxes than it has in 80 years — downward, mainly to lower-income workers, while the other is proposing a large redistribution from the poor and the middle class to the top.
So the next time someone tut-tuts about “class warfare”, remember that the class war is already happening, in real policy — with the top .01 percent on offense.
And, even better: we are winning the war:
As a result, the arteries in American society are hardening. Social mobility is in decline, but, worse, the general drop in trust observable in all social classes is most marked among the poorest third of Americans. Nor should it be any surprise that they are “cynical and even paranoid”, writes Putnam: it is a rational response to their situation. Every institution that might be expected to alleviate their plight – family, school, voluntary organisations and church – has become dysfunctional.
Meanwhile, the rich, dealing themselves out of society’s institutions into ever stronger and sealed ghettoes of their own, become ever more ignorant of the world around them even while they ensure their off-spring scoop life’s prizes.
(ignore the British spelling).
Who wants a society where the deserving have to hang around with riff-raff?
Can you believe this!!!! When we spend money getting a Supreme Court Justice Sworn in, we expect RESULTS!!! We already had RINO Justice Kennedy aboard….only to get betrayed by Justice Roberts?
I can’t believe that he decided that the mandate, dreamed up by some ultra-liberal think tank…oh wait…the Heritage Foundation is on our side….heh, heh…never mind….
Anyway, President Obama signed it therefore it must be bad!!!!
But it isn’t too late; we can still take healthcare away from the poors…just wait until this upcoming general election!
Or…barring that….buy some health insurance and hospital stock. 🙂
I guess it isn’t ALL bad since we can make money…..oh wait…YES IT IS BAD!!!! TERRIBLE!!!! If we win back both houses of Congress and the executive branch…we can……..override a Democratic filibuster in the Senate……never mind. 🙂
