Great Republican Solutions to Mental Health Problems…

Published April 14, 2013 by republicanfaithchat

Frankly I’ve grown tired of the libs complaining about Republicans not taking care of the mentally ill. We give them the opportunity to pray to Jesus! But when that fails to work, we have other solutions:

To attract tourist dollars, Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval unveiled a cheery little ad that displays the Silver State’s sunny side and is set against a toe-tapping version of “Don’t Fence Me In,” the sort of tune that can worm its way into your head.

The governor proudly displayed a new slogan: “Nevada: A world within. A state apart.”

Funny thing, but Sandoval can’t bring himself to talk about a policy that truly sets Nevada apart: busing patients from Rawson-Neal Psychiatric Hospital in Las Vegas to every state in the continental United States.

“We are going to decline to comment,” Sandoval’s press secretary, Mary-Sarah Kinner, said in a recent email, before she stopped bothering to respond to my requests for comment. […]

Also noteworthy, Nevada buses many of its psych patients to those areas, 240 to the Los Angeles-Orange County area, 48 to the Bay Area and 71 to the Phoenix-Mesa-Tucson area since mid-2008.

“We’re not amused by what they’re doing,” said Orange County Supervisor John Moorlach, who, like other California officials, had been unaware of Nevada’s practice.

For years, Nevada carried out its policy quietly, failing to inform mental health care professionals on the receiving end of the bus rides.

But in February, Rawson-Neal’s staff stumbled by giving James Flavy Coy Brown a three-day supply of anti-psychotic medication, four bottles of Ensure and what he called “cheesy peanut butter crackers,” and sending him on a 15-hour Greyhound bus ride to Sacramento, where he has no family and no connections.

Brown, who has schizophrenia, made his way to the Loaves & Fishes shelter in Sacramento, where a social worker listened to his story and got his permission to call my colleague Cynthia Hubert. She has been writing about Brown ever since.

We also used the Nevada public records act to get receipts of all bus tickets purchased by the Nevada mental health department back to mid-2008 and found that Nevada authorities bused 1,500 human beings from its Las Vegas psychiatric hospital to cities in every corner of the country.

[…]

Hey feed the hungry, and care for the sick! That’s how we keep taxes low; let the libs have ’em!

On an unrelated note, get a load of these lib-tarts! This is ridiculous! They are very naughty and need to be spanked!

Defeating Obamacare with Jesuscare

Published February 26, 2013 by republicanfaithchat

All right; things haven’t been as smooth as we’d like. We have Karl Rove trying to get real Republicans to win the primary elections and the riff-raff tea party trying to get their candidates on the ballot.

Ok, it is time for real Republicans to make some concessions that might be mutually beneficial. Those Republicans of lower intellect (and lesser wealth) like Jesus stuff, and real Republicans (those with means) really don’t like paying for stuff for the poors.

So contemplate this (what I saw on facebook):

jesusyourdoctor

Now…let’s mull this over a bit. These people think that Jesus will cure them. These people always talk about religious freedom, right? And, well…what about Obamacare health plans? The libs talked about the “public option”. I saw that we require Obamacare to offer the JESUS OPTION. Tell the government to add a plan that, say, pays ministers to pray for the sick (or to not get sick at all). This is much, much, much cheaper than medicine and then the libs object, bellow on and on about “religious freedom”, how Obama is a tyrant, etc. Of course, regular vaccines will be covered too, but that is about it.

We pay less, the poors get…well…Jesus…and everyone is happy. And, even better: some Democrats will probably go for this!

Think about it: in Illinois, gay marriage passed the Illinois State Senate. They won’t brining it up….yet…in the Illinois House which is also Democratically controlled. Why? Well, one reason: in Illinois, many of the Democrats are black, and the black churches are every bit as bigoted protective of traditional marriage as our own riff-raff! Remember the blacks got Proposition 8 passed in California! (70 percent! )

We can do this!

So Mitt Doesn’t Coddle the Riff-Raff. Well Boo Friggin Hoo!

Published September 23, 2012 by republicanfaithchat

We keep hearing about how Mitt doesn’t UNDERSTAND the stinkards!

Now bleeding heart liberal websites are talking about….sniffle…how the butlers and servants felt during the 50K a plate dinner for Mitt.

Well, just cry me a river. If you are poor, it is because you angered Jesus! For, as Jesus says (Mathew 13:13, verse 12)

Whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them.

If you are poor, it is because you suck and Mitt understands this! Now don’t defy God..and vote for Mitt!

China Has Republicans too? Who knew?

Published September 19, 2012 by republicanfaithchat

Well, we know that the Chinese are communist. But from the article I just read, they aren’t ALL bad; they know how to treat low-lifes (e. g. poor people)

Beggars at a religious folk festival in southern China have been ordered to stay in purposely built cages, or be removed from the festivities.
Organisers gave the beggars an ultimatum saying their presence ruins the experience for visitors at the temple fair in Nanchang, Jiangxi province and if they wished to beg they had to do so from inside small cages.
The zoo-like cages are so small adults are unable to stand and although they are free to leave at will, they are immediately banished from the festival area and have to leave the town if they do so.

Now THOSE are Christian Republican values in actions! Poor people suck!

More good stuff about Mitt Romney

Published August 29, 2012 by republicanfaithchat

Mitt knows what a good owner is and a good business owner doesn’t take gruff from hourly employee Riff-Raff:

A group of coal miners in Ohio feel they would have been fired if they did not attend an Aug. 14 event with presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney and contribute to his campaign — and to make matters worse, they lost of day of pay for their trouble.

In phone calls and emails to WWVA radio host David Blomquist, employees at the Century Mine in Ohio said they feared retaliation if they did not attend the Romney event.

“Yes, we were in fact told that the Romney event was mandatory and would be without pay, that the hours spent there would need to be made up my non-salaried employees outside of regular working hours, with the only other option being to take a pay cut for the equivalent time,” the employees told Blomquist. “Yes, letters have gone around with lists of names of employees who have not attended or donated to political events.” […]

“I’m not saying pay then to attend the event, I’m saying, ‘Hey look, we have to close down the mine, if you want to attend this event, that’s fine, but you’re still going to get a day’s pay for the work that you would have done,’” Blomquist pointed out. “Why not do that?”

“As a private employer, it was our decision and we made the decision not to pay the people,” the Murray chief financial officer said.

Look, a day’s pay for a coal miner is about 200 dollars.

If you complain about a measly 200 dollars, you are a loser!

Mitt knows how to treat the riff-raff.

Why Mitt Romney is the correct choice for President

Published May 22, 2012 by republicanfaithchat

Watch President Barack HUSSEIN Obama make the case for Willard “Mitt” Romney:

OF COURSE it is the President’s job to ensure that the worthy (wealthy Republicans) thrive; it really doesn’t matter how the riff-raff does. Jesus wouldn’t have it any other way:

Matthew 13:12:

“For whoever has, to him more shall be given, and he will have an abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has shall be taken away from him.

Have you ever seen a better endorsement of Willard “Mitt” Romney’s economic policies?
